Whisk the egg with a fork, gradually adding milk and flour, lightly salt the mixture, and add a spoonful of vegetable oil. Prepare two thin pancakes in a frying pan. The filling will be grated cheese mixed with 3 tbsp mayonnaise and beetroot. Spread each pancake generously, roll it up, and cut into pieces 1 – 1.5 cm thick.
Cover the entire salad evenly with the remaining filling, arrange the "roses" made from pancakes on top, garnish with pomegranate seeds, herb sprigs, olive rings, or small flowers cut from boiled carrots.
2. Festive "Beloved" Salad
This salad has an absolutely divine taste: chicken fillet combined with juicy pineapples, smoky notes of prunes, and the sharpness of onion. Be prepared for requests for seconds and to share the recipe!
You will need: 1 chicken breast, 0.5 can of canned pineapple (cubed), 2 boiled eggs, 200 g hard cheese, 120 g prunes, 1 onion, mayonnaise, salt and black ground pepper for dressing.
Preparation: Slice the onion into half-rings, pour boiling water over it, add a little sugar, salt, and vinegar, then mix. After 20 minutes, drain the marinade, lightly squeeze the onion, and arrange it as the first layer on a plate. Separate the cooked chicken breast from the bone, shred it into thin fibers by hand, and place it as the second layer. Salt and pepper to your taste. Next come the layers: pineapple, chopped prunes, grated cheese, and finely chopped egg white. Lightly sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper, then spread with mayonnaise. Cover the top of the salad with finely grated egg yolk.
