Ingredients
- 700-800 g carrots;
- 4 cloves garlic;
- 50 ml vegetable oil;
- 2 tablespoons 9% vinegar;
- 1 tablespoon sugar;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander;
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika;
- 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper.
Step-by-step recipe
- Peel and grate the carrots using a Korean grater. Add salt and gently mash them with your hands to soften them slightly.
- Add sugar, garlic pressed through a press, and all the spices.
- Heat the vegetable oil almost to boiling, immediately pour it over the spices to release their aroma, add vinegar, and mix the salad.
- Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours. During this time, the carrots will become juicier and thoroughly absorb the marinade.
