Sweet and sour varieties with firm flesh are best suited for this recipe: Fuji, Golden Delicious, Semerenko, Granny Smith. They will turn out juicy, moderately sweet, and most importantly – they will retain their shape. Our recipe for baked apples in an air fryer is very simple. We'll tell you the details!

Preparation time: 30 minutes.
Servings: 6.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium apples;
  • 6 tablespoons sugar.

Step-by-Step Recipe

  1. Wash and dry the apples. Core them, removing the seeds and stem, to form a neat "cup." It's important to keep the bottom and walls of the apples intact so that the juice doesn't leak out during baking.
  2. Line the air fryer basket with a paper liner and arrange the apples.
  3. Carefully spoon sugar into the hollows.
  4. Bake the apples in the air fryer for about 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F) using the "Air Fry" or "Bake" mode.
  5. Serve the finished baked apples with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream or crushed nuts. Enjoy your meal!
