If you want to experience a restaurant atmosphere, you don't have to go anywhere. Pan-seared garlic shrimp and scallops are cooked in just a few minutes, and the dish turns out bright and rich in flavor. The main thing here is not to overcook the seafood so that it retains its tender texture. We share the recipe in detail!

Prep time: 20 minutes.
Yield: 4 servings.

Ingredients

  • 250 g peeled shrimp;
  • 250 g sea scallops;
  • 4 cloves garlic;
  • 40 g butter;
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice;
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper;
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

Step-by-step recipe

  1. Rinse and thoroughly pat dry the shrimp and scallops with paper towels. Press the garlic through a press and finely chop the parsley.
  2. Sear the scallops for 1.5-2 minutes per side and transfer them to a plate.
  3. Add the shrimp to the same pan and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add butter and garlic.
  4. Return the scallops to the pan, pour in the lemon juice, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Gently stir and heat everything together for another 1 minute. Sprinkle the dish with chopped parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!
