Preparation: Roughly chop all vegetables. Sauté both types of peppers, onion, and garlic in oil for 7-10 minutes. Add the tomatoes and simmer everything together for another half hour. Add chopped basil, tomato paste, salt, and sugar. Stir, cook the sauce for another 10 minutes, and blend it until smooth. Add apple cider vinegar, bring to a boil again, and seal the sauce in sterilized jars.
